BEFFTA award-winning fashion designer Asakeoge is absolutely thrilled to be one of the lucky competitors to potentially design beautiful and high fashion dresses for the sensational singer Leona Lewis. The singer who shot to fame by winning xfactor is known for her classy and elegant style. Head designer Asake said, “as you know Asakeoge is all about designing outfits that meet each individuals needs and personality, it would be such an honour to dress Leona in exclusive Asakeoge designs.”
Above is the outfit designed by Asakeoge couture for the competition. The dress has been made with Leona’s image and body shape in mind. It is made in a red bold colour with an emphasised feminine silhouette. The cut out key hole at the back lends it extra elegance without appearing too garish.
The dress can be worn long or short, with the long one having a pleated skirt detail that ends in a fish tail. The short version has a cross over belt detail ending in a below the knee pencil skirt. The classic lines give the dress a timeless romantic aura while the exaggerated padded shoulder give it a modern edge. The dress can be made in jersey for a flowing look or raw silk for a more structured look.

You heard it here first! The wonderful young multi-talented singer/songwriter, actor and dance choreographer Duane Lamonte is preparing to give the BEFFTA awards audience an exclusive performance of his single LION(let it roar) and his exclusive new release.
The singer who won the nation’s votes and made it to the top 6 boys in Cheryl Cole’s category in 2009 is enjoying his career as a solo artist.
It doesn’t stop there for the 26 year old star; as a positive role model and a mentor to younger talent who want to have a chance in the industry but cannot afford to put themselves out there, he has joined forces with his mother to run a company called Ivy entertainment. They help young people build and expand their knowledge within the arts and gives them confidence to achieve highly.
Duane admits, “My biggest challenge was the breakaway from the group then going to x factor as a solo artist but it didn’t go well as I anticipated then I thought I can either go back and join the band or focus on myself”.
Duane Lamonte’s full interview is available in the brand new BEFFTA magazine
