As Europe’s biggest award ceremony BEFFTA launches it’s 6th year anniversary on the first day of Black History month in Mayfair,  the legendary music mogul Quincy Jones received BEFFTA GLOBAL LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD at a private ceremony in London. The LA based musical genius was in London for an intimate gig called An Audience With Quincy Jones. The star who developed music for many legends including Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles and many more was thrilled to receive the BEFFTA award presented to her by the founder Pauline Long.  “This is beautiful, this award means a lot to me, it is great to be appreciated, thank you,” said Quincy Jones.

The 6th BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) awards is on 24th and 25th October at The Hippodrome. Stars from US, Africa, Canada, UK the Caribbean and the rest of Europe are expected to turn up in large number. BEFFTA awards honours and celebrates talented personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.
